Residential Bank Support Worker

We are looking for Bank workers to work across several Children’s Residential Homes across Greater Manchester

The Together Trust is one of the North West’s leading charities, offering individual care, support, and education to hundreds of Children, Young People, and Adults each year. We are a not-for-profit charitable trust, so every penny goes back into benefiting the people that we support.

You will be working in a caring home environment with the wider team under the leadership of the Registered Manager, nurturing, and supporting the young people providing them with all the care, love and support that they would receive as if it was their family home. 

Hours:            Various Hours – Full flexibility required. 

Salary:            £12.01 per hour (weekend rate is £15.01 per hour).

            Bank Holiday paid at Double Time

                        Possibility of additional sleep-in payment of £96. 

Locations:      We have services across Bolton, Salford, Manchester & Stockport 


About you...

Are you a student training in the care sector, looking for some paid work experience?

This role will require additional mandatory training before you can start. If successful, you will be supported by L&D to complete the training you need.

How it works…..

We are looking to build a team of bank staff to support the children and young people we care for in our residential services.

We have Residential services in Bolton, Salford, Manchester and Stockport, providing short and long-term support for children and young people who have experienced trauma and difficult beginnings, young people with learning disabilities and autism and young people with harmful sexual behaviour.

You will be motivated and flexible, passionate about supporting the people who access our services.

You should have some experience in working within a similar environment or the desire to kick start a career with us.

You will encourage our young people to develop confidence, self-esteem and essential life skills. As part of our team, you will work hard to empower and help them break through barriers and experience a range of varied opportunities and activities and assist permanent staff teams with duties. You will be open to completing personal care as well as general support work.
