Night Care Worker

We have a rewarding opportunity for Night Care Worker to join our service at Blackrod, Bolton. We aim provide care and support and promote independence and inclusion within the local community through methods including positive behaviour support.

We aim in to empower the individuals we support to take control of their own lives and gain greater independence, by teaching communication, choice and fulfilment.

Shifts will be worked flexibly throughout the week (including weekends) on a rotational basis.  You must be willing to work unsociable hours during the night, following the agreed shift pattern, and to cover annual leave and sickness when necessary. 

Please note that this role involves “Lone Working” during the night.  You must feel independent, confident and competent in supporting young people during the night.  

Location – Blackrod, Bolton.

Salary –  £20,984 (£13.45ph) – Real Living Wage, which has already been pro-rated from the full-time equivalent salary of £26,230.00 per year.

Salary enhancement - Time and a quarter for weekend shifts and during the week between 11pm and 6am.

Working Pattern – You will work 3 x 10 hours shifts per week on a rota basis (including some weekends).  Hours worked are; Starting at 10.30pm and ending at 8.30am.
