- Providing one-to-one job coaching before, during and after placements.
- Delivering workplace training using task analysis and systematic instruction techniques.
- Supporting learners to develop confidence, independence and workplace competence.
- Conducting workplace visits and monitoring student progress.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and wider college teams to ensure students receive the support they need.
- Promoting inclusive employment opportunities and advocating for learners within workplace settings.
- Completing risk assessments and ensuring excellent health and safety practices are maintained.
About You
- We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and passionate about supporting learners with additional needs to achieve successful futures.
- You will have:
- A Level 3 qualification or above in a relevant discipline
- Strong English, Maths and IT skills
- Experience of working with young people or adults with learning difficulties and disabilities
- Experience working with employers, businesses or community organisations
- An understanding of workplace expectations within commercial environments
- Experience conducting risk assessments and task analysis
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, employers and colleagues
- Most importantly, you'll be committed to empowering young people to achieve their ambitions and overcome barriers to employment.
Why Join Us?
