Alongside an incredible team of like-minded peers, you’ll be working behind-the-scenes to support our staff, volunteers, families, and supporters. You will be helping our work happen across the charity; enabling us to care for and champion the rights, needs and ambitions of the people we support.
- Provide general HR administrative support, including maintaining employee records, preparing documents and managing HR databases
- Create letters, contracts for new employees and revision of employment
- Ensure relevant information is provided to payroll by the stated deadlines in line with new starters, leavers and salary amendments
- Ensure relevant communications to stakeholders
- Ensure the DBS check and right to work checks are done in timely manner
- Respond to HR queries from employees, offering guidance on policies and procedures
- GCSEs (5 A-Cs or equivalent including Maths and English)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organisation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, Outlook), a competent user of excel
- Able to maintain confidentiality in accordance with data protection
- Experience of working in HR – desirable
- Enthusiastic and has a want to develop in role
