The Role

We have an exciting opening for a HR Administrator to join our Shared Service team on a 9 month fixed term contract to support all departments across the Trust, covering but not limited to onboarding, general queries, contractual amendments and maintaining accurate employee records.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £24,700.00 with biennial increments
Contract: 9 month fixed term
Location: Hybrid working – a combination of home working and Together Trust Central Office in Cheadle, Stockport
Reporting to: HR Shared Service Advisor
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing employee files and conducting recruitment checks including obtaining references on all appropriate previous places of employment.
- Creating letters and contracts for new employees and revision of employment requests from managers.
- Ensuring HR database is current by inputting data regularly and accurately.
- Taking minutes in meetings as required.
- Ensuring all relevant information is provided to payroll by the stated deadlines in line with new starters, leavers, and salary amendments.
- Building key professional and credible relationships with service managers and employees.
- Working with the HR Team on projects as and when required and within set timescales supporting with the administration of the wider HR and recruitment team.
- Taking responsibility for your own performance and addressing areas of ongoing development.
- Dealing with queries as and when they arise with a high level of accuracy and customer service and within the agreed service level agreement
About you:
- Educated to GCSE level (5 A-C’s or equivalent including Maths and English) with a want to develop in the role.
- Experience of working in an environment where you have to deliver against service level agreements.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organisational skills and a good level of computer literacy including all Microsoft Office Applications and competent user of Excel.
- Able to work to deadlines and prioritise own workload.
- Customer focused, responsive, and cooperative with customers.
- Pro-active, enthusiastic, self-motivated and adaptable to change
- Be able to maintain confidentiality in accordance withData Protection.
