All permanent and temporary staff are eligible to participate in the Childcare Voucher scheme.
Membership of Simply Health (healthcare cash plan) is available to all staff.
A Group Personal Pension Plan is available for permanent and those on a fixed term contract (non-teaching) with a minimum employee contribution of 4%.
Teaching staff, including tutors, are auto-enrolled into the Teachers Pension Scheme.
In line with Government legislation, staff who are not members of any of the above pension schemes and meet the eligibility criteria will be auto-enrolled into the Trust’s Group Personal Pension Plan (AE). The Together Trust makes regular contributions to your individual plan whatever staff pre-approved pension scheme you join (listed below).
Consideration will be given to employees who may need to work on reduced hours or to job share. However, due to the nature of some of our work requirements, both full and part-time staff employed will be required to work flexibly to meet the requirements of the services and young people.
The Together Trust offers a free, confidential counselling and advisory service to its staff and their close family members, providing support and guidance on a range of issues from consumer rights, legal issues, debt or domestic matters - whenever and wherever it is needed.
We are committed to working with all staff to support their development needs and provide a variety of learning and development events, training and role specific qualifications. Everyone receives regular supervision and an annual appraisal.
All new starters undertake the Together Trust induction programme. For professional staff the programme covers all aspects of working with individuals and families. Administrative and management staff undertake a programme appropriate to their role.
We provide 28 days (including 8 bank holidays) annual leave per year, rising to 33 after five years continuous service.
We are committed to our employees and their wellbeing is very important to us. Healthy and happy staff make an exceptional contribution to the Together Trust; therefore it is in our best interests to help our employees stay stress-free, enthusiastic and feeling well every time they come to work.
We have created an employee guide to promoting attendance to ensure that:
• Your manager has a good understanding of stress and related issues
• You have access to support when required
• Solutions are found to reduce stress at work
• Your feedback is taken into consideration to be able to improve working conditions in the future
